“William the Conqueror: The Norman Impact upon England” was first published in Great Britain in 1964 by Eyre Methuen Ltd. This edition follows the text of the edition published by Yale University Press in 1999, with minor emendations. In particular, the majority of David C. Douglas's footnote references have been omitted and his bibliography has been replaced with an updated list of suggestions for further reading by K. S. B. Keats-Rohan.

Binding of book is tight. Marks of age and wear on slipcase, including fraying, scratches, tears and shelfwear. Price tag on bottom right corner. Also patches of ink inside. Covers of folio, however, in excellent condition. Slight foxing around edges of book, most concentrated spot on bottom edge. Pages and plates in excellent condition.
