Description
Whatever and Ever Amen is Ben Folds Five's highly regarded second album, originally released in 1997 and noted for its piano-driven alt-rock and sharp, candid storytelling.
Standout tracks such as Brick, Battle of Who Could Care Less, Song for the Dumped, and Kate showcase Folds' witty lyricism and memorable melodies.
The 2024 vinyl reissue from Sony Legacy brings the album back to vinyl with the full original track listing.
Produced by Ben Folds and Caleb Southern, the sessions were recorded in a Chapel Hill home studio, the setting that contributed to the album's distinctive blend of polished pop and lo-fi textures.
