Description

Elephant Micah's Vague Tidings, released in 2021 on Western Vinyl, is a sparse, haunting journey through the wilds of Alaska and the outer reaches of Americana. Joe O'Connell's third album for Western Vinyl features Libby Rodenbough on fiddle and Matt Douglas on woodwinds across eight intimate tracks. Tracks like Glacier Advisors and Eastern Callers blend environmental folklore with existential questioning of Western expansion. This lo fi, cinematic folk portrait invites quiet reflection on nature, progress, and the American frontier.
