This 1993 US CD reissue of "The Complete Ella in Berlin: Mack the Knife" features a live recording from February 13, 1960, at Deutschlandhalle, West Berlin, with The Paul Smith Quartet. Celebrated for winning two Grammy Awards in 1960, this album presents a continuous performance without fades between tracks, including four songs making their CD debut. Notably, tracks 10 and 11 are mistakenly included from a different concert. The release is accompanied by an 8-page printed insert. For further details, please refer to the accompanying photos.
Media Condition: Near Mint (NM)
A nearly perfect disc. A NM CD should have no obvious signs of wear, scratches, or other defects. It may have been plated, but it has been handled very carefully. This is the highest grading we give for our preloved CDs.
Sleeve Condition: Very Good (VG)
Many of the defects found in a VG+ CD will be more pronounced, with possibly more wear, marks and indentations. May be marred by slight fading, a small tear/rip, writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
