Description

Wedding invitations and engagement announcements used to be just words on a plain card. Now they can be so much more--with The Art and Craft of Keepsake Engagements and Weddings . Beautiful, hip projects combine digital photography with paper crafting for invitations that will be cherished long after the event. The centerpiece is “keepsake photography,” pictures that go beyond simple snapshots to capture life’s richest moments. Then these timeless images are transformed into unique mementos that share and document the story--cards, announcements, invitations, albums. No previous experience in photography or crafting is needed, since author Barbara Smith covers everything from basic special-occasion photography tips to digital imaging to paper-crafting techniques. For those who want to turn their new hobby into a business, the last section of the book presents marketing ideas for selling custom-made products. First in a series, The Art and Craft of Keepsake Engagements and Weddings starts readers on a life-long journey of creativity.
