Save Me, Kurt Cobain

Teen's quest intertwines with Nirvana's enigmatic legacy.

If you ever found yourself captivated by the haunting allure of Nirvana's music and the mystery surrounding Kurt Cobain's life and death, "Save Me, Kurt Cobain" could strike a chord with you. It blends the raw emotion of teenage discovery with the gripping question of "what if." The journey of Nico ties into a poignant exploration of identity and music that's immersive and moving, especially for those who grew up with the echo of Cobain's voice as a backdrop to their lives.

Description

What if you discovered that Kurt Cobain is not only alive, but might be your real father? Nicola Cavan has been an outsider since age four when her mother vanished from their home in Victoria, British Columbia. Now 15, Nico is determined to find her beautiful, music-obsessed mother. After glimpsing “Cobain” on a ferry from Seattle, Nico follows the man with the blazing blue eyes to a remote Vancouver Island cabin—and her life will never be the same. This nuanced and bittersweet YA debut will keep you guessing until the end.
