Description

Brad's In The Moment That You're Born delivers ten new self-produced tracks, with Shawn Smith's vocal takes recorded before his passing in 2019 and completed by Stone Gossard, Regan Hagar, and Keith Lowe. The collection includes a newly recorded version of Stars N' You, a song written by Andrew Wood for Malfunkshun's Deep Six compilation. Recorded and mixed at Studio Litho in Seattle with Barrett Jones on piano for Meadow in Autumn and Hans Teuber adding horns on various tracks, the album was released by Loosegroove Records in 2023 as Brad's final studio project. This release stands as a poignant closing chapter to Brad's catalog and to Shawn Smith's enduring vocal legacy in Seattle's rock scene.
