Description

Danzig 5: Blackacidevil is the fifth studio album by Danzig, originally released in 1996 and marking Glenn Danzig’s bold shift into industrial and dark electronic metal. This Cleopatra vinyl reissue arrived in 2022 and features contributions from Joey Castillo on drums, Joseph Bishara on keyboards, and Jerry Cantrell on guitar on several tracks. Musically, the record blends heavy metal with industrial textures and electronic programming, continuing Danzig's boundary-pushing approach. Originally issued by Hollywood Records in 1996 and later reissued by Cleopatra, Blackacidevil stands as a landmark in Danzig's catalog.
