Description

Cigarettes After Sex's self-titled debut for Partisan Records crafts a moody, cinematic take on dream pop, anchored by Greg Gonzalez's hushed, intimate vocal delivery. The album unfolds through literate, romantic vignettes across tracks like K., Each Time You Fall In Love, Sunsetz, and Opera House, weaving melancholy and desire into lush, reverb-soaked textures. Released June 9, 2017 on Partisan Records, this debut helped define the band's signature noir-pop mood and earned them a devoted international following. Its restrained yet cinematic storytelling remains a touchstone for fans of atmospheric indie pop.
