Aino Kuusinnen was the wife of Otto Kuusinen, a founder of the Finnish Communist Party who worked for the Comintern from 1921 to 1939, surviving the purges, joined the central committee of the Party in 1941 and was a member of the Politburo from 1957 until his death in 1964. These memoirs are like no others that have come out of Russia, giving an authentic picture of the inside workings of Soviet Communism.

Binding of book is loose. Encased in plastic wrap. Some foxing and shelfwear on dust jacket. Very little shelfwear on covers of book. Slight tanning and foxing on edges of book. Some foxing, few waterstains and shadow on endpapers. Slight shadow and few waterstains on first few pages. Very little foxing on certain pages. otherwise in good condition.
