Art As Experience

Based on Dewey's lectures on esthetics, delivered as the first William James Lecturer at Harvard (1932), “Art as Experience” has grown to be considered internationally as the most distinguished work ever written by an American on the formal structures and characteristic effects of all of the arts: architecture, sculpture, painting, music, and literature.

Binding of book is tight. Signs of wear spread across covers of book, especially evident on spine. Moderate to heavy foxing on edges of book. Line drawn with marker across bottom edge. Also a stain on corner of book. Some foxing on insides of covers. Slight foxing on certain pages, otherwise in very good condition.
