John Coltrane's A Love Supreme, the landmark spiritual jazz suite originally released in 1965 with the Classic Quartet, is presented here in its 60th anniversary Monophonic Edition. Remastered from the original analog tapes by Ryan K. Smith, this edition restores the intimate mono sound that Coltrane and the quartet created. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI and housed in a tip-on gatefold jacket, the release delivers focused sound with the quartet's powerful interplay. Released in 2025 as part of the 60th anniversary celebration, this mono edition presents A Love Supreme as Coltrane intended, with the quartet's energy at the center.
