Description

Originally released on Contemporary Records in 1961, Together Again!!!! pairs Teddy Edwards on tenor sax with trumpeter Howard McGhee, backed by Phineas Newborn Jr., Ray Brown, and Ed Thigpen. This 2024 edition from Craft Recordings, part of the Contemporary Records Acoustic Sounds Series, uses AAA lacquers cut from the original master tapes by Bernie Grundman and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at QRP in a tip-on jacket. The album features six tracks including Together Again, You Stepped Out of a Dream, Up There, Perhaps, Misty, and Sandy.
