The Body-Hat Syndrome is Digital Underground's third studio album, originally released October 5, 1993 on Tommy Boy Records. The record expands the lineup with Saafir and Clee and features the lead single The Return of the Crazy One, issued September 21, 1993. Tupac Shakur contributes to Wussup Wit the Luv, marking his final appearance with Digital Underground. The album blends Parliament and Funkadelic samples with West Coast hip hop and includes the Humpty Dance Awards along with the three-part Body-Hats suite.
