Asia's Asia In Asia - Live at the Budokan, Tokyo, 1983 captures the band's landmark MTV satellite broadcast from the Budokan on December 6, 1983, the first live cross-continental broadcast between Japan and MTV. Remastered and issued on 2LP vinyl for the first time in June 2022 by BMG Rights Management, this edition preserves Asia's melodic FM rock via a crisp, live performance. The lineup features Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer, delivering a set of classic Asia tracks such as Heat of the Moment, Only Time Will Tell, Sole Survivor and Wildest Dreams. The release is presented with Roger Dean artwork, commemorating Asia's peak era and long-standing influence on progressive-inflected rock.
