Flight Tower

Flight Tower is the second edition in Dirty Projectors’ 2020 five-EP cycle, anchored by Felicia Douglass on lead vocals. The four tracks Inner World, Lose Your Love, Self Design, and Empty Vessel showcase her mellifluous alto and a lyrical collaboration with Dave Longstreth. At just over ten minutes, the EP threads soulful vocal lines with subtle electronic textures, continuing the band’s exploration of new vocal dynamics. This release sits within a year-long sequence where each member takes a turn at the mic, culminating in the group’s collaborative close.
