This 2015 Jazz Wax Records vinyl reissue presents the Riverside-era sessions originally issued in 1954 on Pacific Jazz, with liner notes by Richard Brock and Gerald Heard. The track lineup includes My Funny Valentine, That Old Feeling, Like Someone in Love, It's Always You, Time After Time, and other standards. Recorded in Los Angeles in 1954 and July 1956, the album captures Baker's blend of cool West Coast swing and lyrical balladry.
