Chesney "Chet" Baker's Riverside classic Chet, originally released in 1959, is reissued by Craft Recordings as a 180-gram LP. Recorded in December 1958 and January 1959, this instrumental session features Bill Evans on piano with Pepper Adams, Herbie Mann, Kenny Burrell, and Paul Chambers, delivering Baker's lyrical trumpet over moody ballads. Cut from the original analog master tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, this edition preserves the intimate, understated beauty that defines Baker's most enduring work.
