Description

This unique book consists of insights from diplomats who were involved firsthand with the making of the TRIPS Agreement in the Uruguay Round. The authors of the various chapters were negotiators from GATT Contracting Parties or GATT Secretariat officials at the time. This is the first time that those involved with the TRIPS negotiations have come together to present their views. The book is based partly on views expressed by some of the contributors in a symposium held by the WTO Secretariat on February 26, 2015.
