In the subsequent chapters, the metamorphosis from childhood to adulthood is described, as well as courtship and engagement ceremonies, the status of engaged girls, music and dance, and beadwork. Marriage and lobolo (bride price), weaving, pottery, home life and the wedding ceremony are also examined. There are photographs accompanying the text throughout.
